Lake Nockamixon, PA. (09/15/02) We held our 8th Annual Fall Open Buddy Tournament on Sunday, September 15th. Congratulations to this year's winning team of Sean Hartigan (Bethlehem) and Tom Hartigan Jr. (Ogdensburg, NJ). The team recorded a winning weight of 11.42 lbs. (Sean and teammate Mark Grandinetti also won the 2001 Fall Open at Nockamixon.)
The Hartigan's winning bag led the 2nd place team of Harlan Bleiler and Jack Cornelius (11.12) lbs. On a very difficult day, these teams were the only teams to record limits.
In the lunker pool, Dan Rymdeika (Dublin) and Ben Eden (Dublin) recorded the lunker largemouth of 4.48 lbs. Their lunker barely edged a 4.47 lb bigmouth from the team of Doug Laird and Al Reeser. The lunker smallmouth, also the only smallmouth caught, went to the Hartigan team. The lunker weighed in at 3.24 lbs.
For the day, 24 bass (total weight of 71.03 lbs) were weighed in from the 38 boats participating.
