Lake Nockamixon, PA. (04/8/01) A Blue Mountain Bassmaster tournament record winning weight of 18.26 lbs was recorded by the winning team of John Hawthorne (Ottsville, PA) and Timothy Reber (Blooming Glen, PA).
John and Tim also recorded the lunker largemouth (5.57 lbs) while Gary Koenig and Jeff Ulmer recorded the lunker smallmouth (5.82 lbs). Congratulations to both teams!!! The winning team also took home a beautiful Largemouth Bass fiberglass fish mount from Coastal Fiberglass Fish Mounts.
The record weight was recorded in uncomfortable weather conditions, which featured thunder, lightning, rain, and hail (not to mention COLD). Overall, a tough day with 74 boats weighing in 18 bass for a total weight of 63.99 lbs (3.56 lb avg). One 4-fish limit was recorded.
