Spruce Run, NJ (10/25/09) Due to a cancellation of our Lake Nockamixon tournament earlier in the year, the club scheduled a make-up tournament at Spruce Run. This was the club's second trip to Spruce Run in 2009. After a very difficult 1st tournament, the club had hopes for better days to wind out the 2009 season. In the end, Spruce Run would win again.
On another difficult day, Norm Post was able to earn his 2nd victory of the year with a definitive win. Norm's bag of 4 (7.65 lbs) easily beat the rest of the field. Norm was followed by (2) Steve Rhoads 3.2 lbs and (3) John Welsh 3.00 lbs.
Steve Rhoads took top honors in the lunker pool with a 3.2 lb lunker.
Overall, Spruce Run was tougher than ever and only yielded 7 fish for a total weight of 13.85lbs (1.98 lb avg).
