Harvey's Lake, PA (09/13/09) The club travelled to Harvey's Lake, PA for the 7th tournament of the year. With the first 6 tournaments won by 6 different anglers, who would stand out and take home victory?
Make that 7 tournaments - and 7 different winners!! Bob Reimer turned a very difficult day for the field into his 1st victory of 2009. Bob recorded 2 fish for 3.37 lbs. With only 6 fish weighed in, Bob was the only angler to record more than 1 fish. Rounding out the top four were: (2) John Welsh 2.98 lbs, (3) Steve Rhoads 1.58 lbs and (4) Lynn Post 1.1 lbs.
John Welsh took top honors in the lunker pool with his 2.98 lb largemouth.
For the day, the club only recorded 6 bass for a total weight of 9.66 lbs (1.66 lb avg).
With 7 tournaments completed, Chuck Ward (115 pts) maintains first place for the year. Rob Fischl has continued to quietly move up the leaderboard to 2nd with 101 pts. The rest of the top 5 is very tight with (T3) Jess Salmon 100 pts (T3) Lynn Post 100 pts and (5) Norm Post 99 pts.
